MoC
(Motor on Caliper)

MoC is a brake (caliper) that integrates the parking brake function into the brake caliper. It uses hydraulic pressure during ordinary service brake operation. To safely park the vehicle, electrical signals operate the attached motor actuator unit to generate mechanical clamping or actuation of the caliper. As with traditional parking brakes, the MoC can be used to slow the vehicle under “emergency brake” situations.
