IDB2 RCU
(Integrated Dynamic Brake 2, Redundant Control Unit)
IDB2 is an electric brake system that converts the driver’s brake pedal input into electrical signals to activate a motor, generating and controlling brake pressure. It is a solution compatible with Level 3 and above autonomous driving. Even in the case of a system failure (single failure), the RCU module enables braking through a built-in redundancy safety function.
