MiCKIE
Construction Site Auxiliary Robot MiCKIE
MiCKIE is the first construction auxiliary robot developed based on HL Mando's vehicle-based hardware technology and autonomous driving software expertise. This robot enables smarter and safer management of large construction sites.
Construction Sites Redefined by MiCKIE
-
Management of
More Frequent and
Wider AreasWith multiple MiCKIE units, broader areas can be monitored more frequently. With its high speed and robustness, MiCKIE can patrol 24/7 in place of human workers, even in hazardous zones. It conducts routine patrols according to schedule, identifying potential hazards on site to prevent accidents in advance.

Building Smart Sites
with Autonomous
DrivingMiCKIE assesses hazards and surroundings through LiDAR, cameras, and various sensors to determine a safe driving route. It identifies drivable paths for large equipment and alerts workers of approaching hazards. Additionally, it creates a 3D map of the site, allowing for real-time monitoring of construction progress.
-
Lower Costs,
Enhanced Site SafetyUnlike human workers, MiCKIE can operate without restrictions on time, frequency, weather, or environment. It continuously monitors for hazards, helping prevent accidents before they occur. A single control center can manage multiple sites, enabling cost-effective operations.

Autonomous
Construction Site Auxiliary RobotUnlike other autonomous robots that operate in controlled
environments, MiCKIE is designed for autonomous driving
on unpaved sites. Based on 4th-generation autonomous
driving technology, it identifies and tracks a variety of
dynamic and static obstacles and hazards in complex
environments like construction sites, such as people,
materials, construction equipment, pits, and slopes.
MiCKIE then infers movement paths to identify drivable
routes. -
Smarter Construction Site
Management and DiagnosticsHazard information and drivable route data collected
by multiple MiCKIE units are shared among the units and
provided to connected workers on site. Using sensors,
MiCKIE collects diverse real-time data from the site,
enabling immediate response to environmental changes and
unforeseen incidents. It also guides optimized routes to
enhance the efficiency of heavy equipment operations,
reducing the likelihood of accident-related losses. Additionally,
using the collected 3D data, a digital twin allows for
comparisons between blueprints and actual site conditions,
enabling progress tracking. -
MiCOSA
Integrated Control PlatformThe MiCOSA integrated control platform is a system that
provides the commands, controls, and information necessary
for multiple MiCKIE units to carry out shared missions on-site.
It visualizes the data collected by MiCKIE, supplying information
to workers, and offers tools to monitor the robots' status and
task progress through maps, charts, tables, and videos.
When needed, it also enables remote control, allowing for
direct participation in operations.
